A little about us:
Hi! We're Rolfe and Cathy, your hosts. The website has
been a lot of fun and we are glad to see such a positive response. We
both grew up in Ishpeming (about a mile apart) and both graduated from
IHS, but didn't know each other until years later. In 1986 we met through
some friends in Sunnyvale, California, where Rolfe was working for AMD
and Cathy had just moved in search of bluer skies and a career. We were
married in Ishpeming and stayed in the San Francisco Bay area for 10 more
years. In 1998 a job opportunity coaxed us to Seattle where we now live
with our three fun and busy children--Nicolette-10, Bianca-8, and Lucas-6.
Each summer we spend a few weeks in Ishpeming visiting our families and
friends, and soaking up the sun. We hope everyone enjoys the site. Thanks.
